Hypnotherapy

What is Hypnosis?
Hypnosis is a natural state of mind, enhanced by mental and physical relaxation. In this state our subconscious mind is able to communicate with our conscious mind. It is similar to daydreaming or that state of relaxation one feels just before drifting into sleep. We experience many different degrees of waking hypnosis daily. An example of this is when we are totally absorbed in a movie or a book and our focus is only on the details.
We believe that we have a set of behavioral skills that come from things like Logic, Reasoning, and Will Power. However, most times what we think, choose, feel, and how we behave as adults derives from patterns and beliefs learned and formed in our childhood.
Up to 95% of our everyday tasks are performed from the subconscious mind. Hypnosis facilitates direct access to the subconscious mind where past memories can be accessed if needed and suggestions for positive change can be made.
What is Hypnotherapy?
There are various psychological modalities. Hypnotherapy is distinctive in that it addresses the client's subconscious mind. In practice, the Hypnotherapist enlists the power of the clients own imagination. He or She may employ a wide range of techniques from story-telling, metaphors, symbolism and direct suggestions for beneficial change. Regression therapy may also be employed in an attempt to uncover issues deemed to lie in a clients past.
Hypnotherapy is considered to be an expedient approach. Beneficial change should become apparent within a few sessions.
What is Hypnoanalysis?
Hypnoanalysis aims at discovering the root cause of an issue. Uncovering the source of the emotional and psychological manifestations is the raison d`etre of Hypnoanalysis. Once the root cause is exposed and addressed, the symptoms will be eliminated and the behavior will shift. This allows for a permanent and desirable change. In this modality, the hypnotherapist will use techniques that gently promote old unconscious memories to emerge. This encourages the mind to gain a new perspective while keeping the valuable lessons learned. This allows the individual to let go of any negative patterns and emotional conditioning. Hypnoanalysis is an effective method of healing that can address complex issues. It is an involved and extensive process which requires dedication and resolve. It allows one to heal deeply and regain Freedom.
How does Hypnotherapy work?
When something happens to us we remember it and learn a particular behavior in response to what happened. Each time something similar happens our physical and emotional reactions attached to the memory are repeated. In some cases these reactions are un-healthy for our well-being and happiness. Using regression therapy for example, the hypnotherapist guides one to remember the event that led to the initial reaction. The memory is then separated from the learned behavior. The events perception is consequently re-framed; which in turn generates change in behaviors and attitudes.
There is growing scientific evidence that in between 80-90% of issues and their physical manifestations are a product of the effect of our mind. Once we address the underlying core issues within our subconscious and shift our thoughts the issues and their physical manifestations can be reduced and even eliminated.
